Songs at Six: Dickinson/Mörike

  • Milton Court Concert Hall Milton Street London, England, EC2Y 9BH United Kingdom (map)

Two giants of 19th-century poetry, united by faith, passion for the natural world and steadfast commitment to the deep meaning of small details.

Led by Dr Bretton Brown and Pamela Lidiard, this concert centres on a pair of essential works from the song repertoire: Copland's Twelve Poems of Emily Dickinson and Wolf's Mörike-Lieder, and also celebrates the music of 20th and 21st-century composers including Raymond Yiu, Juliana Hall.
